Charitable Contributions from Toyota of Gastonia & Employees Toyota Motor Sales sponsored a program this year challenging dealerships to make charitable contributions and agreed to match up to $10,000 of these donations per dealership. Toyota of Gastonia stepped up to the challenge and we wanted to make you aware of the charities in our community that benefitted from this program. Susan G Komen for the Cure - $2,500 – They provide funding for research to find a cure for breast cancer, but also supported local education, screening and treatment programs to help with prevention and the message of early detection.
www.komencharlotte.org With Friends, Inc - $2,500 – They provide residential care, counseling, and education, skill-building, outreach, follow-up and supportive services that focus on positive youth development programs goals including giving young people the opportunities to learn skills and develop the assets they need to resist high risk behaviors and succeed in life.
www.withfriendsyouthshelter.orgAs One Ministries - $5,000 – to provide daytime shelter, supportive services, referrals, and housing opportunities in order to assist Gaston County’s homeless adults, youth, and families with returning to self-sufficiency.
